A package of our traditional Kava (called Ava in the Samoan language) weighs 1 POUND or 16 oz. (454 grams) and is in a resealable plastic bag. Traditional mixing instructions are available. There is presently in Samoa no way to test kavalactones.

(The shipping costs above are not just the mailing fee but also include a boat freight cost which is charged per kilo for the shipping from Samoa to the post office in American Samoa)
