Sale Kava Bowl No. 16 - This
Graceful Traditional 16" Kava Bowl was handcarved from one piece
of very dense local hardwood (IFILELE tree wood) so is VERY heavy in weight.
Large pieces of this Ifilele wood are becoming increasingly hard to get as
the trees are very slow growing. It has a deep bowl and the carved designs
very detailed. It has the traditional natural luster patina and was polished
with a pig's tooth. It has a lovely grain to the wood on the inside of the
bowl. This tanoa measures 16" wide.

23" BOWL - HARD TO GET
THIS SIZE NOW - This Graceful Traditional Kava Bowl was handcarved
from one piece of very dense local hardwood (IFILELE tree wood) so is VERY heavy
in weight. Large pieces of this Ifilele wood are becoming increasingly hard
to get as the trees are very slow growing. It has a deep bowl and the carved
designs very detailed. It has the traditional, dark luster patina from burying
it in mud for a considerable time before the design is carved and then polishing
it with a pig's tooth and has a lovely grain to the wood on the inside of the
bowl. This tanoa measures 23" wide and 9-1/2" high.

25"-Long Handcarved Kava Bowl was handcarved from one piece of dense
hardwood (IFILELE tree wood) so is heavy. Large pieces of this Ifilele wood
are becoming increasingly hard to get as the trees are very slow growing. This
tanoa has very detailed designs carved completely around the sides. It has the
traditional, natural luster patina and was polished with a pig's tooth. Has
a lovely grain to the wood on the inside of the bowl. This bowl measures 25"
long.
