SHIPPING INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs when the order is submitted and PRIOR to shipment.
ITEMS to the U.S., Canada, U.K., E.U.,Asia and worldwide are SHIPPED via AMERICAN SAMOA by USPS MAIL,
WITH THE EXCEPTION of ITEMS to AUSTRALIA/NZ that are shipped from SAMOA by AIRMAIL PARCEL POST.
Actual delivery times vary, are unpredictible and not guaranteed, but are about 2 to 4 weeks to most countries.
If a Customer would like a shipping quote then please email me for that information. Please note that the shipping costs to HAWAII are much cheaper than to Continental U.S. so if the shipping address is Hawaii then say so when enquirying for a shipping quote.
Insurance: All items go out uninsurance. Customers are advised to buy shipping insurance (if available) because once item is mailed at the post office, I am not responsible for refund or replacement if the item is lost or damaged during shipping. The Customer must request insurance. The Postal shipping insurance is extra and would be calculated in accordance with the USPS insurance rates. There is no refund or compensation for damage or loss incurred during shipping as it is deemed the customer's responsibility to purchase this suggested insurance for that purpose. Insurance also provides a Tracking Number.
Insurance Cost (USPS): Value up to $100 - $2.15; $100-$200 - $2.60; $200-$300 - $4.60; $300-$400 - $5.55; etc.
Multiple Items Ordered: Packaging multiple items together for shipping is available, but only where SIZE, SHAPE and WEIGHT allows. Shipping costs for multiple items ordered are calculated after the order is made based on actual packaged weight of the items ordered. I can estimate packaged weight but the finished weight of an ordered item such as a kava bowl or drum, can vary as these are all handmade items.
International Shipping Regulations: I ship Worldwide and do not take responsibility for the existence of regulations which may effect or limit, in any way, the shipping of any item I ship into a Customer's country so Customers must agree to be responsible for this knowledge and any costs incurred regarding it.
Refund: A Refund is only given if the item received is deemed by both parties to be substantially not as described in this webpage. Notice of this must be given by the customer to Paradisegypsy within 5 days of delivery. Shipping fees are not refundable and the customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred shipping the item back. There is no refund or compensation for damage or loss incurred during shipping as it is deemed the customer's responsibility to purchase the suggested insurance for that purpose.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$) ONLY BY THE FOLLOWING METHODS. I do not accept Personal Checks or Payments Sent to my Samoan Address and I do not do pick-up in Samoa as I have no store.

(A) Direct Payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS thru a Secure Server which I personally then processed through my bank. All the currency conversion is done automatically at the rate of exchange for that day. The SuperSecure Company's main page is here if you want to assure yourself of its security system.

(B) A Money Transfer company such as Western Union or MONEYGRAM that has an outlet/receiver in Samoa. This system is used for hundreds of money transfers into Samoa and all South Pacific countries daily. It is a same-day service (or 3 day) which is a perfectly safe and very reliable system in this part of the world.
(C) Money Order, Check or Cash in U.S. Funds mailed to one of my banks in the U.S. (Washington State or American Samoa).
(D) BANK-TO-BANK Money Transfer in the United States through Customer's local bank to my U.S. bank (there is a $12.00 fee charged as well as the Sender's bank fee).
(E) BANK-TO-BANK Money Transfer from Australia, New Zealand or anywhere Worldwide through Buyer's local bank to my Samoan bank (which is an Australian based chartered bank). There is NO fee charged here but there is a Sender's bank fee..
(F) PAYPAL (www.paypal.com) - a reputable worldwide on-line credit card processing organization owned by Ebay which is fast and easy, free registration required, service is free for Buyer - Email for information.

I am not able to keep all of these beautiful items in stock at all times as I do not have a store and sell only on the internet. If I do not have a particular item/s in stock then, after payment for the item and shipping cost is received, I would order it directly from the individual craftspeople. THIS ALL TAKES TIME (usually I receive items one week after ordering). So for orders of many types of items, please do not expect this type of order to be filled and delivered in one or two weeks as this is Samoa. The basic communications and transportation are much more difficult here with some of the carving villages, for example, not even having telephone service. If there is an urgency for an order then please let me know immediately and I can advise if it is possible or not. ALSO, because these handicrafts are all unique and handmade, the design patterns on many of the items may not be exactly identical to the photos on these webpages but very similar.
